Sveva Gerevini is one of the most versatile and talented athletes in Italian athletics. She is the first Italian athlete in history to win 4 consecutive national heptathlon titles (2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020). In March 2024, she set a new record in the indoor pentathlon with 4559 points, securing fourth place at the Glasgow Indoor World Championships, the best performance ever for Italy in combined events at a global level.In June 2024, at the European Championships in Rome, Sveva broke the Italian heptathlon record that had stood for 25 years, totaling 6379 points and finishing sixth.
